이 강좌에서는 이론 언어학에서 정립한 추상적인 이론을 언어 사용으로 발생하는 실제적 문제에 적용하여, 다양한 언어 현상에 대해 폭넓게 이해하는 학습을 한다. 응용언어학의 개방성에 초점을 맞추어 언어학의 여러 영역 및 인접 학문과의 관련성을 토대로 언어현상을 구체적으로 살펴볼 수 있게 한다. 이 교과목을 통해 끊임없이 변화해 가는 언어의 특성을 좀 더 이해할 수 있는 안목을 높인다.

In this course, students will learn to widely understand various language phenomena by applying abstract theories established on theoretical linguistics to practical problems arising from the use of language. Focusing on the openness of applied linguistics, the course makes it possible to examine the language phenomena in detail based on the relation with various areas of linguistics and related studies. Through this course, students will gain a better understanding of the fluxional characteristics of language.
