In keeping with the changing times, which cause innovations and diversity of media, this course makes students understand the flow and trend of informational society, and politics, economy, society and culture of Russia and Central Asia through mass media like internet, newspaper, and broadcastings. Thus this course gives students practical Russian language skills and knowledge of area studies as well as specialists .
